It's really choppy and suuuuuper scribbly because I took like 30 seconds to draw each frame. Please fill in the gaps and gloss over the art with your wonderful imagination! I made it in Windows Movie Maker which is an absolutely evil program =o=

What I'm looking for:
Everything! Wolves, foxes, fennec foxes, ferrets, servals, bobcats, tigers, other big cats, small cats, deers, dragons, gryphons, dogs, birds, hybrids, original species.. bring it!
I'm leaving the details to your imagination, but here are some things I really like:
-White base color with black and red markings<33 (mostly on canines)
-Cute and fluffy things! No need to go all big eyes and oversized heads, but animals with fur. Creepy and slimy things just aren't my thing.. Still don't be afraid to make something dark/evil
-Anything tribal
-Native american stuff
-Feathers!
-Tawny, golden, brown, white, red, blue, cyan, gray, black (well, not all combined)

The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.

Callibrate your Wacom tutorialHad you  finally  made  the transition from intuos 3 to intuos 4?, or Are you rich to change into an intuos 5? Had you made the transition from a first generation cintiq  to the new ones?. More levels of pressure will mean  more quality to the paintings, am i right?. 
Did you thought that by default the pen will it be like using butter on bread?, you try it for the first time and you love all of it, you said i have sooooooo much control on my strokes im having a blast. Then only  to realize you only have total control of the brush but when you are moving it really slow?. But when you do quick strokes the pressure drops a lot of paint making you redraw tons of stuff?
Did you ever thought that painter its hard to handle with new tablet? Too much pressure? If it has more pressure why i cant control more easier the beggining of the stroke which is more crucial?.

Who am I?
My name is Selina Fenech, some of you will know me as THAT Selina Fenech. I've been full time self employed as an artist since about 2002, displaying my work online for longer than that, and drawing and painting even longer. I'm generally your typical girl-geek, with a particular fascination for fantasy themes, of course.
I'm from Australia, and was born in 1981. I'm a girl, I'm engaged to be married and I have one pet cat with no name.

What about my artwork?
Mostly my art these days is mixed media. I normally start with either a watercolour and/or acrylic base painting, with other bits of pencil, pastels, inks, whatever, thrown on top. Then my traditional paintings often get a bit of digital treatment as well, either for some special effect I want added or some colour correction, etc.

Why don't I sell prints on DA?

I make my own art prints, as well as lots of other fun merchandise with my art all for sale at fairiesandfantasy DOT com.

So What's New?
I'm about to upload a good year or so worth of art. I was, well, busy in 2008. Turned out I had cancer, pretty crazy huh? Anyway, I had all the normal treatments and things look good. Fingers crossed it'll never come back again.

congrats on your engagement , terribly sorry to hear you
had to battle cancer at such a young age , you're only a
year younger then me!

I hope things improove for you and that it doesn't come

Hey there Sel me old mate! Great to see you posting again. Im so glad your doing better. I lost both my Father and cousin to the dreaded desease and my mum had it too but shes better now.
Keep up the good work and stay strong. You rock my socks kiddo!
