This is one I wasn't very happy with. You know when you have an idea for an artwork in your mind and it just doesn't come out how you want it to? I think this one turned out looking quite Amy Brown style, and I that isn't how I imagined I wanted it to turn out, but my artworks generally have a life of their own and turn out however they want to! Watercolour.

I LOVE this painting. I love your work so much, and I usually relate my feelings to your artwork..and one day I felt exactly like this painting and I wrote a poem about it :) If you'd like to see it it's on my page and it's called "Storybook Directions."

The background and tree make the picture look so dry and static-y. My eyes are watering just by looking at it. However, the girl is soft-looking and pretty. It totally contrasts, which adds more drama to the picture. Very, VERY well done. <3

I think my favorite part of this piece is the tree. Maybe its just because its bare, but it looks like the branch she's holding could snap the momment a stronger gust comes up. It just reminds me of how we're so scared to leave our "safe place" but we fail to realize its not very safe at all.

This is really nice. I love how you drew the tree, and she looks so nervous and cute! Great hair and cool wings...I like the moth style to them.
