This is one I wasn't very happy with. You know when you have an idea for an artwork in your mind and it just doesn't come out how you want it to? I think this one turned out looking quite Amy Brown style, and I that isn't how I imagined I wanted it to turn out, but my artworks generally have a life of their own and turn out however they want to! Watercolour.

I like the warmth of the picture. It matches well with how I feel about the season.

I know the feeling quite well. Trust me, this piece is beautiful, and even though it might not run up to your personal standards, it's gorgeous. Your detail with the watercolor is awesome. You must have alot of patience to be able to get that much detail. The hair and the wings are my favorite part in your piece.

I don't think the fairy is very Amy Brownish... she's prettier and her body actually looks proportional ;)

another gorgeous piece! I am very impressed with the translucency of her dress... couldn't imagine even attempting anything like that with watercolour....

yes...this does have a cetain 'Amy Brown' feel to it...I think its the colors...and possibly the wings.
