For some odd reason while developing this work I thought to myself, "I want all the trees to be leaning". It wasn't till after I finished that I realised how odd and silly that was... hrm... well that's chemo brian for ya.

This is a really beautiful piece of art-work!, i like how she just seems wrapped up in her own mystical-fantasy world, and i like those wings aswell, the transparancy is real gorgous, great work!

The wings and dress-folds are amazing. It isn't actually that unusual in a more temperate climate (like where I live) for trees to lean more often than not. However, if that was the case the hem of her dress would be soaked.
Also, other than tree-climbing plants there tends to be less undergrowth near trees, not more (because they block sunlight). This could vary depending on the plants, but I think it's usually the case. I like the swirly bark; it fills out the fantasy feeling.

I like the leaning. It makes it more unique. I saw a pic in AZ Highways mag that had all the trees curved from growing on a windy slope. I thought it looked really neat.
