Artist's Comments

A number of times I have been contacted by people who have lost someone very close to them, wanting to commission me for an artwork to honour their loved one, to remember them, and to in some small way help with the loss.
Unfortunately, as much as I would like to, I haven't the time to put in to really do justice for these requests individually, but wanted something to offer people who are feeling a great loss.
That is what I was hoping to acheive with this new artwork.
"Guardian"
That when you feel shattered, and have lost the strength to stand, there will be someone to hold you and lift you up again.

love the picture, so much thought and amotion behind it, really does bring a tear to my eyes to read as I have a partner and I don't know what I'd do without him.

wonderful, amazing, beautiful as usual. I love the way the wings seem to be almost like a security blanket. They look so warm and fluffy :). Also the way the bottom of her dress is torn adds a nice effect. Her head on his shoulder is also a very comforting thing, 'a shoulder to cry on' really. The light radiating from the pair is a nice touch also. All in all a beautiful piece :).
