Subtitled: The Birth of Mermaids
I was trying to think of a different way of portraying the tragedy of Atlantis, so I thought I'd make it as the birth of the race or mermaids through magic, transforming the drowning souls into mermaids.

Gorgeous work! It is ironic, I found a painted silver mermaid pendant that is exactly this same design (mermaid only)
